Day 5 - 5.5 hours
Today was a big day for the game as I added procedural world generation, as well as animals using the sprites made by Fire yesterday. The world generation uses Perlin noise (surprise surprise) to generate a surprisingly pleasing world with grass, trees and varying sizes of rocks. Among the shrubbery you will find chickens and cows, who can be captured and forced to work within the confines of your farm until they die. The animals don't do anything except for wander around at the moment, but eventually they will produce milk and eggs.
In the next few days I hope to work on the town and get the economy system up and running. This is ambitious, given that we have spent around 24 hours on the game (devlog times are rounded), but we shall see!
